The Bears celebrated senior night in style by picking up their first win of the year on Friday Night. 

 

The Bears took the opening kickoff right down the field, going 58 yards on 8 plays, concluding with a 1-yard Nicholas Biletta run and a Gavin Royce extra point, which made the score 7-0 Bears.

 

The Eagles tied the game in the third quarter by doing exactly what the Bears did, taking the opening kickoff of the second half for 10 plays and 57 yards, getting an 8-yard touchdown and a Brett Murphy extra point to tie the game at 7 at the 5:21 mark of the 3rd quarter. 

 

Each team got close to scoring in the fourth quarter as both teams turned the ball over in the red zone the Bears at the one-yard line and the Eagles at the 7-yard line. 

 

The Bears won the toss for overtime and managed to work their way down to a 4th and goal from the 4. They lined up for a 21-yard field goal. The Bears could not get the ball down on the tee and completed a touchdown pass from the holder Tilman Henley to the kicker Gavin Royce who also kicked the extra point The Bears took a 14-7 lead. 

 

Norristown got a chance to tie the game next, starting at the 10-yard line and only got backed up by the Bear's defense. It all came down to a 4th and goal from the 21-yard line, and Norristown's pass to the end zone was knocked down by Connor Foskey, and the Bears held on for the win.
