The Bears played in Downingtown for the first time since 2006 to take on Downingtown East for the first time in school history.  

 

The Cougars opened up the scoring and owned the first half, rolling off 35 unanswered points in the first half. 

 

Downingtown opened the scoring on a 29-yard interception return by Connor Kiebort and a Ryan Hornack (5-5) extra point at 7:55 of the first quarter.  Mason Ippolito added a 15-yard run, and the first quarter ended 14-0. 

 

Downingtown continued to roll in the second quarter, getting a 4-yard run from Alex Rios, a 2-yard run from Juelz Robinson and another Rios run this time for 10 yards to make it 35-0 at half. 

 

The Bears got on the board with just 32 seconds left in the game on a 8-yard touchdown pass from Gavin Royce to Braydon Burris. Royce added the extra point to make it 35-7.
