At Boyertown, the Bears fi - nally got everything clicking. Max Marcus and Jon Neiman accounted for six total touchdowns and the Bears went on to win in the PAC-10.
The Bears (2-6, 4-6) had 453 yards on the ground and didn’t even punt. Marcus ran for 185 yards and three touchdowns, and had a 64-yard touchdown reception.
Neiman had 176 yards and two touchdowns as both backs went over 1,000 yards for the season. Neiman went over 2,000 for his career.
“ We came out and the O-Line did everything and blocked everybody tonight,” Marcus said. “Felt good to come out and get my thousandth yard against Owen J.”
The Wildcats (0-8, 1-9) were unable to keep pace with the Bears offense. Two promising drives that got within the Boyertown 5 were turned away. Both times the Bears marched 95-plus yards to score.
“The line did a great job, blocked the linebackers, and all I had to do was run into the holes,” Neiman said.
