To the Boyertown Football Players, Parents, Faculty, Administrators, and Community,

 

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the oppurtunity to lead the Boyertown Area Senior High School football team.  There are exciting times ahead for this community.  The product that you see on the field and in the community will reflect the hard work of the players, coaches, and the people working behind the scenes. 

 

We, the players and coaches, cannot do this alone.  We all have a stake in this program.  We will rely on the parents, the community, faculty and administration to help build a successful program.  When we all understand our individual roles, we will reach our goals of turning Boyertown into a football program that breeds success. 

 

The goal for this football program is to achieve the same success that other sports at BASH have attained.  With the dedication of the community, players, coaches and school staff, Boyertownwill see a football programwhere our players compete at the highest level, acheive academically at the highest level, and lead in the community.  To achieve our goals, we need an "all in" approach from the varsity level to the youngest player in the youth level.  Our players will understand that they are ambassadors of the community on and off the field.  We are going to work with the community, faculty and administration to make sure that we are developing student-atheletes who will graduate from Boyertown ready to take on any challenge. 

 

Acheiving these goals will not always be easy.  Football mirrors life in many ways.  There are highs and lows.  We are going to face obstacles. However, together, there is no challenge we can't conquer.  We are asking for a level of dedication that will result in building this programinto a system that is respected on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.  We will work together to write a new page for Boyertown Football.
