2013 All Pioneer Athletic Conference Selections

 

The Boyertown Bears are proud to announce thier selections to the 2013 PAC-10 All Conference selections. 

 

First Team Selections

 

      

 

#36 Cody Richmond First Team Running Back 

 

Cody rushed 302 times for 1625 yards and 15 touchdowns .  He accounted for 2062 all purpose yards and was one of the major reasons the Bears shattered a number of PAC-10 offensive records. 

 

#81 Tyler Zilen First Team Tight End

 

Tyler pulled in 25 catches for 381 yards and 3 touchdowns.  Tyler was also a key on offense when his number was not called blocking for the running game and protecting the quaterback.

 

#79 Kyle Schutt First Team Offensive Lineman

 

Kyle was a key part of the Bears record setting offfense the Bears rushed for a total of 3132 yards and passed for 1540 yards.  The Bears ran 797 plays from scrimmage for 4672 yards.  The Bears averaged 5.3 yards per rushing play. 

 

SECOND TEAM SELECTIONS

 

           

 

#7 Griffin Pasik Second Team Quarterback

 

Griffin was 98 for 195 for a total of 1473 yards and 14 touchdowns.  He also rushed 120 times for 646 yards and 11 touchdowns. 

 

#75 Austin Jacobs Second Team Offensive Lineman

 

Austin was a key part of the Bears record setting offfense the Bears rushed for a total of 3132 yards and passed for 1540 yards.  The Bears ran 797 plays from scrimmage for 4672 yards.  The Bears averaged 5.3 yards per rushing play. 

 

#81 Tyler Zilen Second Team Defensive End

 

Tyler had 28 unassisted tackles and28 assisted tackles.  He also had 18 tackles for loss for a total of 78 yards and.5 sacks for a loss of 51 yards.  Tyler racked up 1 interception, 5 quarterback hurries, and 1 forced fumble. 

 

HONORABLE MENTION

 

       

 

#26 Justin Siejk Honorable Mention Strong Safety

 

Justin had 36 unassisted tackles and 33 assisted tackles for a total of 69, 5 of those tackles were for a loss of 36 yards.  Justin recorded 1 sack for 11 yards, 1 interception and 3 breakups. 

 

#5 Nick Brough Honorable Mention Wide Reciever

 

Nick pulled in 27 passes for 603 yards and 6 touchdowns. Pulling in a season high 7 passes for 148 yards against the Pottstown Trojans. 

 

#75 Austin Jacobs Honorable Mention Defensive Line

 

Austin recorded 14 unasissted tackles and 15 assited tackles for a total of 29.  He recorded 3 tackles for loss for a total of 12 yards, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery. 

 

#52 David Pettine Honorable Mention Offensive Lineman

 

David was a key part of the Bears record setting offfense the Bears rushed for a total of 3132 yards and passed for 1540 yards.  The Bears ran 797 plays from scrimmage for 4672 yards.  The Bears averaged 5.3 yards per rushing play.
