2013 All Berks County Team

 

The 2013 All Berks team has been named and the Bears had three players honored

 

   First Team All Berks             Second Team All Berks

      

 

#36 Cody Richmond (Running Back) - Cody led the Bears this season with 302 rushes for 1625 yards and 15 touchdowns.  He also caught 14 passes for 169 yards and was responsible for 2062 total yards.  Playing both sides of the football Cody was also responsible for 25 tackles 3.5 for loss. 

 

Cody's three year career at Boyertown included 465 rushes for 2672 yards and 22 rushing touchdowns.  24 receptions for 245 yards and 2 touchdowns.  Scoring 148 points and 3218 all purpose yards. 93 tackles and was even the bears punter in the 2011 and 2012 season averaging 30,6 per kick. 

 

Second Team All Berks

 

#26 Justin Siejk (Strong Safety) -  Justin was one of the leaders on the Bears defense this season.  He racked up 36 solo tackles and 33 assisted tackles including 5 tackles for loss for 36 yards. 

 

 For his career Justin had 78 unassisted tackles, 71 assisted tackles a total of 149.  10 of those tacles were for a loss of 52 yards and 2 sacks for 19 yards. 

 

 

#81 Tyler Zilen (Defensive End)-  Tyler was a standout for the Bears on both sides of the football this season.  Defensively this season Justin had 28 unassisted tackle sand 28 assisted, 18 tackles for loss totalling 78 yards and 9 sacks for 51 yards. Tyler also caught 25 passes for 381 yards and 4 touchdowns. 

 

Tyler's totals at Boyertown for his career included 141 total tackles 69 unassisted and 72 assisted.  34 tackles for loss for 129 yards.  10.5 sacks for his three year career.  On offense he caught  32 passes for 505 yards and 4 touchdowns.
